POSITION PURPOSE
The Bed Group Leader works as a member of a team to complete the setup and pour processes for various product types.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? General housekeeping and waste disposal throughout the shift ? Collect and prepare materials as directed ? Prepare and clean forms ? Reads blueprints and shop tickets ? Identify and report shop ticket errors ? Measures and marks locations for placement of items in forms ? Direct or assist with concrete pours as needed ? Direct or assist with raking, screeding, and leveling concrete as needed ? Operate various types of equipment such as hoists, overhead cranes, hand, and power tools ? Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations. ? Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
SCOPE OF AUTHORITY
? Works independent of supervision ? Assigns tasks to crew ? Works as a member of a team ? May direct or coordinate the work of Bed Utility and Formsetter team members as instructed by supervisors
