In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, carpet and vinyl, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces and delivering exceptional results for our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in flooring installation, restoration, and construction-related tasks within a fast-paced environment. Requires a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to get to work. Responsibilities Measure and prepare surfaces accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper flooring fitment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and floor plans to execute precise installations aligned with project specifications. Install various flooring materials such as tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet while adhering to safety standards. Perform surface preparation tasks including leveling, caulking, trim carpentry, and concrete finishing to create optimal installation conditions. Utilize construction estimating techniques to determine material quantities and project timelines effectively. Conduct water damage restoration and floor care procedures as needed to restore or enhance flooring surfaces. Assist with fixture installation, cabinet installation, remodeling projects, and general handyman tasks on-site. Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction work on commercial or residential sites. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques, floor care practices, and restoration industry standards. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installation work. Experience with caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and general remodeling projects is highly desirable. Construction site experience including safety protocols and working in diverse environments is essential.
