We are looing for a Builder Installation Specialist to join our growing team!
Job Summary:
We need an experienced Flooring Installation Specialist to oversee residential and commercial flooring projects. You will manage job sites, inspect quality, and source, recruit, and onboard reliable subcontractor flooring installers to meet our high standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Subcontractor Recruitment & Management:
Source and recruit qualified independent flooring subcontractors and installation crews. Vet subcontractors by verifying general liability insurance, workers' compensation, and references. Negotiate pricing , rates, and contract terms with installation partners. Onboard new crews on company safety rules, quality expectations, and digital scheduling workflows. Schedule and dispatch subcontractors based on job requirements and crew availability.
Project & Quality Oversight:
Inspect active job sites to confirm installation quality, adherence to blueprints, and manufacturer guidelines. Resolve on-site issues or material shortages quickly to prevent project delays. Verify completion of work before final sign-off and subcontractor payment processing. Ensure clean and safe work areas on all residential and commercial properties.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on flooring installation or construction project management.
Industry Knowledge:
Deep familiarity with carpet, hardwood, tile, laminate, and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) installation.
Network:
Proven ability to source, recruit, and manage trade subcontractors.
Compliance:
Knowledge of insurance verification, vendor contracts, and safety regulations.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for managing vendor relationships.
