Flooring Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing surfaces to ensure proper installation. Measure and cut flooring materials accurately using hand tools and power tools. Install various flooring types such as tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet following blueprints and schematics. Use caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation techniques to achieve seamless finishes. Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project requirements and ensure precise execution. Perform water damage restoration tasks when necessary to repair or replace affected flooring areas. Conduct floor care maintenance, buffing, and restoration work to maintain quality standards throughout projects. Skills Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, and construction site work. Strong knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers; familiarity with power tools including drills and sanders. Skilled in carpentry techniques like trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and concrete finishing. Experience with water damage restoration industry practices and floor care techniques. Ability to interpret schematics for fixture installation and remodeling projects. Excellent craftsmanship in caulking, painting preparation, buffing, and floor restoration processes.
