Flooring Installer Location:
Frankfort, IL (local job sites within ~40 minutes) Transform spaces. Step by step. From sleek hardwoods to durable vinyl plank, the right flooring sets the tone for every space. We're looking for a skilled Flooring Installer who delivers excellence underfoot, someone who can combine technical ability with an eye for precision, efficiency, and detail. As a Flooring Installer , you'll be responsible for installing a wide range of flooring materials, including LVP, laminate, hardwood, and tile, primarily in residential remodels. You'll ensure every installation meets the company's high standards of fit, finish, and function-making every space feel new again. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install flooring materials with precision and minimal waste. Remove old flooring, prepare subfloors, and ensure surfaces are level, clean, and dry. Install LVP, laminate, hardwood, and tile flooring according to design plans. Operate power tools safely (saws, nailers, sanders, etc.) to achieve clean results. Apply adhesives, finishes, or underlayment as required. Inspect work for accuracy, durability, and customer satisfaction before handoff. Collaborate with team members and clients to stay on schedule and solve field challenges. Maintain a neat, safe, and organized jobsite at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a flooring installer or carpenter with flooring experience. Proficiency in LVP, laminate, and hardwood installation (tile experience a plus). Knowledge of underlayment, transitions, baseboards, and finishing techniques. Ability to read measurements and layout plans accurately. Strong work ethic, communication, and teamwork skills. Reliable transportation to job sites within ~40 minutes of Frankfort, IL. Ability to lift 50+ lbs, kneel, or stand for extended periods (reasonable accommodations available). Experience in carpentry, drywall, or remodeling is a plus. Willingness to submit to a background check and drug test after offer, consistent with Illinois law. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of hire. Pay and Benefits Full-time, W-2Employees Compensation:
$18.00 to $45.00 per hour (DOE)Benefits:
