In this role, you are the first professional point of contact for our customers. Your primary goal is to provide 100% accurate site assessments and measurements to ensure our projects are quoted correctly and installed without a hitch. This isn\'t just about using a tape measure; it?s about identifying subfloor issues, moisture levels, and transition requirements before the first plank is ever delivered. ________________________________________

Key Responsibilities On-Site Measurement:

Visit residential and commercial properties to record precise dimensions of all areas receiving new flooring.

Documentation:

Utilize measuring tools and software (RFMS) to create accurate floor plans and renderings.

Job Site Assessment:

Evaluate subfloor conditions (leveling, moisture, damage) and identify potential obstacles like door clearances, appliances, or complex transitions.

Consultation:

Briefly discuss material suitability with clients based on their space\'s traffic and climate (e.g., suggesting LVP over hardwood for high-moisture basements).

Reporting:

Prepare detailed reports for the sales and installation teams, including material quantities, waste factors, and specific labor requirements.

Client Experience:

Provide a professional, punctual, and courteous experience that reinforces our brand\'s commitment to quality. ________________________________________

Qualifications & Skills Technical Savvy:

Proficiency with measuring tools and flooring estimation software.

Experience:

Applicants must have a minimum of 2-4 years experience.

Mathematical Aptitude:

Strong geometry skills?you must be able to calculate area, perimeter, and waste percentages for complex layouts effortlessly. Attention to

Detail:

Ability to spot a 1/8-inch dip in a subfloor that could ruin a future laminate installation.

Knowledge of Trades:

Solid understanding of different flooring types (Hardwood, LVP, Tile, Carpet) and their specific installation requirements.

Communication:

Ability to translate technical site issues into clear notes for the office and easy-to-understand explanations for the customer.

License:
