Job Description

At Burkholder's Flooring we are a family owned small business for over 85+ years. We are seeking an experienced and skilled carpet installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, with a focus on carpeting. We service existing and new home construction plus some commercial projects in the tristate area of PA, MD, and
WV. PAY IS PIECE RATE

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Install carpet and other flooring products, including underlayment and padding, according to manufacturer specifications and work order. Measure and cut carpet to fit specific spaces, taking into account obstacles such as stairs, doors, heating vents and pattern repeats. Ability to use binding machine for stair runners or area rugs a plus. Clean floor and job site to ensure they are free of dirt and debris prior to leaving. Work safely on job sites in commercial and residential settings. Provide exceptional customer service, including communicating with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with the installation. Full time hours (Approx. Monday - Friday 7:30AM-4PM) Ideal Candidates should have and display the following: Drug and Alcohol Free At least 3 years of carpet installation (required) A strong commitment to quality and attention to detail is essential for this role. Positive Attitude. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs Ability to complete work on time with minimal supervision Excellent verbal communication skills in English. Proven experience in carpet installation and other flooring Ability to drive vehicle requiring CDL physical is a plus. Benefits of working with
