Carpet Installer/carpet installer helper

In this role, you will work hands-on making custom area rugs, assisting in the installation of carpets, and daily warehouse duties. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to creating beautiful area rugs, stair runners, and wall to wall installations. Whether you're experienced in carpet installation and fabrication or eager to learn, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills in flooring installation and restoration. Responsibilities Assist in measuring, cutting, and laying carpet according to project specifications and schematics Prepare work sites by cleaning and setting up necessary tools and materials Use hand tools and power tools safely to install carpets and fabricate carpets Support senior installers with tasks such as putting down tack strip, pad, carrying in rolls of carpet and removing trash. Installers- Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate placement of flooring Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while ensuring quality standards are met Requirements Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, kneel, and work with your hands.
