The ideal candidate will be responsible for the professional installation and repair of various types of flooring, primarily carpet. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install carpet, padding, and underlayment in residential and commercial settings.
• Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing any imperfections.
• Install tack strips and transitions.
• Operate specialized tools and equipment, including power stretchers, kickers, and cutters.
• Provide carpet repair and maintenance services to existing clients.

PM Skills:

• License or certification from CFI as a carpet installer / fitter.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a carpet fitter in an employment setting.
• Strong knowledge of various carpet types, installation techniques, and industry best practices. ...
• Proficiency in using a wide range of carpet installation tools and equipment
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
