Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Dearborn. If you are a self-starter who takes pride in your work, shows up on time, and has an eye for detail, we want to hear from you. The primary focus of this role is apartment unit turnovers (turns) and high-quality painting/drywall repair . You will ensure that when a tenant moves out, the unit is quickly, cleanly, and efficiently brought back to pristine condition for the next resident. Key Responsibilities Expert Painting & Drywall Repair (Primary Duty): Clean, fast, and professional execution of drywall patching, sanding, priming, and painting. Turning over units smoothly requires high proficiency in making walls look brand new.
Unit Turnovers:
Efficiently manage the make-ready process for vacant apartments, ensuring a quick turnaround time without sacrificing quality.
General Maintenance Repairs:
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs across multiple trades, including:
Plumbing:
Fixing leaky faucets, clearing drains, replacing fixtures.
Electrical:
Replacing light switches, outlets, and light fixtures.
Mechanical:
Minor appliance troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
Flooring & Tile Work:
Basic installation and repairs of various flooring types and tile/grout touch-ups as needed. Job Requirements Punctuality is
Non-Negotiable:
You must be reliable, organized, and consistently show up on time.
Transportation:
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation to commute to the property.
Deep Painting Experience:
Extensive background in professional painting. Speed, clean lines, and a neat workspace are absolutely critical for this position.
Hands-on Trade Experience:
Proven experience in apartment turnovers, minor electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and flooring/tile work.
Problem Solver:
Ability to work independently, manage your daily task list, and maintain a respectful, professional demeanor.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
