Installer/Finisher 2870 Lafranier Road, Traverse City, MI 49686 $25
- $35 an hour
- Full-time $25
- $35 an hour
- Full-time Install various types of wood flooring, involved in subfloor repair, floor finishing and final trim work.
- Tear out and disposal of existing product
- Preparation of the sub-floor and surrounding area
- Measuring, sizing, placement and securing of product with various adhesives, staples, etc.
- Various sanding heavy duty and light equipment
- Applying sealants and finishes Additional responsibilities include:
- Light conversation with customer for awareness of project schedule and variances
- Maintain equipment and company provided vehicle in safe and organized manner
- Assist in the management of personal schedule, time on job and project work
- Reporting of job hours Qualifications and Education Requirements
- No schooling threshold
- Basic carpentry math
- Current drivers license Preferred Skills
- Familiarization and use of various wood shop tools and equipment
- chop, jig, band, and table saws and sanders
- Tape measures, scales, levels, right angles and machine guides
- General hand tools, adhesives, and power nailers
- Basic Carpentry skills This role provides ability to earn a commission on jobs when actual hours spent are less than Estimated.
