Flooring Technician

Job Description We are seeking a reliable, detail- oriented and physically capable Flooring Technician to join our team. this role focuses on the installation and repair of flooring within military base housing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their craftsmanship and can manage assignments from start to finish with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Installations & Repair:

Proficiently install and repair carpet, padding, and Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) to high industry standars.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to handle the physical demands of flooring work, including lifting heavy materials, kneeling, bending for extended periods of time and also on occasions the use of machines for demolition. Attention to

Detail:

Ensure all finishes are clean, precise, and meet the specific requirements for residential housing on base.

Independent Work:

Capability to manage your daily schedule and complete assigned tasks independently while maintaining high productivity.

Reliable Transportation:

Must possess a personal, reliable vehicle capable of transporting yourself, materials and tools needed to various job sites on base.

Security Clearance:

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check to obtain and maintain access to the military installations.

Professionalism:

Maintain a professional demeanor and respect for the property while working in occupied and vacant housing units.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in carpet and LVP installation. strong problem-solving skills for flooring repairs excellent time management and organizational skills.

Pay:

$500.00 - $1,000.00 per week
