POSITION SUMMARY
A Containment Installer I is responsible for assisting in installing and material handling of product from receiving dock to working area, while training on installation processes and gaining knowledge of material.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware. Use basic hand tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring tape) to assemble and secure components. Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment. Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas. Inspect and test completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment. Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed. Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule. Report material needs, progress updates, and any installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Basic mechanical or construction skills; ability to use hand and power tools safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods. Previous experience in construction, or data center infrastructure installation is a plus
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma 0-2 Years Mechanical experience preferred but not required No previous data center experience needed
Computer Skills:
Knowledge in Microsoft Suite applications such as: Excel, Word, and Outlook is a plus
Certificates and Licenses:

Pay Range:
