The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tile surfaces in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Tile Installer will work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure high-quality results that meet client specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and lay tiles accurately according to project plans and schematics Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar Install various types of tile including ceramic, porcelain, stone, and glass in floors, walls, backsplashes, and other surfaces Perform caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and water damage restoration as needed Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for precise tile placement Assist with remodeling projects such as cabinet installation, flooring installation, and construction painting Read blueprints and schematics to determine layout and materials required for each project Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Maintain a clean work environment during and after project completion Skills Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, and construction site work Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, cutters, levels, and caulking guns; proficiency with power tools is a plus Knowledge of carpentry techniques including trim carpentry and cabinet installation Experience with restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor care Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fixture installation processes Strong understanding of construction estimating procedures Ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex projects Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in finishing work such as buffing and concrete finishing Valid experience in remodeling projects including construction painting and handyman tasks Join our team if you are passionate about craftsmanship in tile installation and possess the skills necessary to deliver exceptional results on every project.
