Full Job Description Job Summary:
Assist pressman in make ready and run activities, stacking finished product off of folder. Assist in keeping machinery maintained and work area organized.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in producing high quality and consistent printing that meets and exceeds client expectations
- Assist Pressman in washing blankets, making ready jobs
- Watch product carefully to maintain client expectations and avoid spoilage
- Adhere to all Policies and Procedures implemented by the company
- Maintain press and press area according to standards and assist in scheduled maintenance
- Keep press and press area client ready
- Communicate any issues/problems associated with given job to assure proper outcome
- Keep personal appearance client ready for random press checks or client tours
- Be honest about any mistakes and seek immediate resolve
- Review and comply by all details on Job Ticket to assure job is properly produced
- Follow instructions given by Press Operator and Pressroom Manager
- Between jobs and tasks, clean machines and area, organize, perform maintenance as needed
Skills/Qualifications Required:
- Reading skills capable of reading and following Job Ticket instructions
- Mechanically capable of routine maintenance
- Communication skills to discuss relevant job to job issues to seek positive results
- Dependable and focused
- Tow motor Certified and must be able to use tow motor with and pallet jacks
- Work necessary overtime to meet client demands
