Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Tile Installer, Tile Setter, or Tile Laborer and bring craftsmanship and precision to every project! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring tile surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces with beautiful, durable tile work that meets high standards of quality and safety. Whether you're laying intricate patterns or handling restoration projects, your skills will contribute to creating stunning environments that clients love. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced construction industry while working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar for tile installation. Measure and cut tiles accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific spaces and designs. Lay tiles according to schematics, blueprints, or client specifications, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Apply grout, caulking, and sealants to finish tile joints and edges for a polished look and water resistance. Assist with other construction tasks such as flooring installation, trim carpentry, fixture installation, or restoration work as needed. Read schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and ensure precise execution. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Skills Extensive experience with tile laying, flooring installation, and water damage restoration techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools (trowels, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) safely and effectively. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for accurate project planning. Familiarity with schematics, construction site experience, and restoration industry standards. Ability to perform trim carpentry, cabinet installation, caulking, painting preparation, concrete finishing, buffing, and remodeling tasks. Skilled in the use of construction estimating software and understanding of fixture installation procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality craftsmanship on every project. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
