We specialize in manufacturing and installing end-to-end architectural metal solutions, including canopies, awnings and sunshades. The purpose of this position is to provide necessary labor to install Architectural Fabrication's pre-manufactured products on our clients' job sites using safe & efficient methods.
Objectives:
Able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities to meet deadlines. Work independently and with minimal supervision. Read blueprints, identify and prepare materials and supplies for installation. Safely transport materials to install sites on company vehicles and unload finished materials and equipment. Maintain a driver's license. Able to stand for long periods and lift 75 or more pounds frequently throughout the day. Able to work at various heights, and to be exposed to weather conditions Install awnings, sunshades, canopies per drawings and specifications.
Use the following equipment:
scaffolding, elevated platforms, ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and bucket or crane trucks. Perform quality assurance post-production and post installation. Effectively communicate onsite conditions to the project management office. In interactions with customers and co-workers, maintain a positive attitude and high level of dependability and integrity. Must be available for out of town work, requiring overnight stays
Attributes/Experience/Skills:
Organized, Prompt, Diligent, Self-Starter Able to communicate effectively, follow direction and exercise good judgment.
Computer skills:
Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Quickbooks, Google Drive/Docs/Mail, etc. Installation experience in the sign industry or construction experience with the same similar tool profile. OSHA10 certification preferred
