Residential Carpet Installers are responsible for field management and completion of flooring projects with a focus on safety, professionalism and efficiency while ensuring high quality installation and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in stretch-in carpet installation. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to and from work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Install carpet using stretch-in installation techniques. Measure, cut, seam and trim carpet to specifications. Prepare subfloors and install tack strips, padding, and transitions. Move and replace furniture as needed during installations. Inspect materials and job sites before installation. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members. Operate and maintain installation tools and equipment. Complete installations according to Company quality standards and manufacturer guidelines. Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
