In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of tile surfaces, including floors, walls, and backsplashes, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with precision and durability, supporting our commitment to excellence in the restoration and remodeling industry. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction and flooring installation while working on diverse projects. Duties Measure, cut, and install tiles on floors, walls, countertops, and other surfaces according to blueprints and schematics Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar for optimal tile adhesion Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate tile placement and layout Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and securing tiles Perform caulking, grout application, sealing, and trim carpentry to achieve finished edges and professional appearance Assist with related tasks such as cabinet installation, fixture mounting, or minor carpentry repairs as needed Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Experience Proven experience in tile laying, flooring installation, or related construction work with a strong understanding of building codes and safety standards Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assess project scope and material requirements Hands-on experience working on construction sites with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., trowels, levels) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) for precise installation tasks Background in restoration industry projects involving water damage restoration or floor care is a plus Knowledge of caulking techniques, fixture installation, remodeling processes, concrete finishing, painting preparation, buffing techniques, and trim carpentry enhances versatility Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're eager to bring craftsmanship to life through meticulous tile installation!
