$16.50/hour (based on experience) Must report to Abrams office each morning Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and professional Floor Technician to join our team. This role involves specialized floor cleaning tasks and customer interaction. If you're experienced with floor care equipment and enjoy working independently and part of a team, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Tasks to be performed: Operating and maintaining equipment used in floor maintenance such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums Cleaning, stripping, sealing, and waxing various flooring types Carpet cleaning, including hot water extraction with truck mount machine, portable machines and dry extraction methods Removing stains or debris from floors using the appropriate cleaning tools and products Ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols while carry out duties Reporting any damage or repairs needed to flooring, equipment, and vehicles to Operations Manager Requesting cleaning and maintenance supplies in a timely manner to Operations Manager Be able to lift and carry 50 lbs., stand for long hours, crouch, and drive long distances Perform additional job tasks, such as auto scrubbing and postconstruction cleaning Communicate effectively with team members Ensure a safe and clean work environment Follow company policies, procedures, and employee handbook Qualifications Janitorial experience preferred Experience with cleaning equipment, techniques, and maintenance of equipment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team #IND5
