Experienced Commercial Glazier

Overview We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glass installation and repair, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, ensuring safety and aesthetics are prioritized. Responsibilities Install glass in windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications. Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. Perform repairs on broken or damaged glass as needed. Assist in metal stud framing and fixture installation as required. Engage in door hanging and trim carpentry tasks when necessary. Conduct construction estimating for projects involving glass installation. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Experience Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry. Familiarity with metal stud framing, fixture installation, door hanging, trim carpentry, and maintenance person tasks is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to glass installation projects. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship in all aspects of work.
