Experienced Glazier-Commercial Glazing

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, including residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work with various hand tools and materials. As a Glazier, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our projects. Duties Install glass in windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications. Assemble and fabricate glass fixtures, ensuring precision and quality. Perform heavy lifting as required when handling large glass panels and materials. Conduct repairs on existing glass installations, including replacing broken or damaged glass. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of glass components. Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fitting glass. Assist in drywall installation and construction painting as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools related to glass installation and repair. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physically demanding tasks. Familiarity with cabinet installation, fixture installation, and general maintenance person skills is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is an advantage. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
