In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, installing, and servicing a variety of window coverings including blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to commercial spaces, utilizing your construction and technical skills to transform spaces and enhance our clients' environments. Responsibilities Measure windows and verify installation requirements. Install blinds, shades, and shutters, and other window covering products. Install and program motorized and smart-home window covering systems when applicable. Use hand and power tools safely and properly. Ensure window treatments are level, secure, and operate correctly. Identify and resolve installation or product issues. Protect customers' furniture, flooring, and property during installation. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate professionally with customers and explain product operation and care. Complete installation paperwork and document any necessary follow-up work. Drive to customer locations and manage daily installation schedules. Follow company safety, quality, and customer-service standards. Qualifications Previous experience installing window coverings, blinds, shades, shutters, or similar products preferred. Strong measuring and basic math skills. Comfortable using drills, screwdrivers, levels, ladders, and other hand/power tools. Ability to read basic installation instructions and diagrams. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Ability to lift and carry window covering materials and equipment and work from ladders as needed. Proof of liability insurance Completed and signed W9 Form Subcontractor Requirements Form filled out and Signed Preferred Qualifications Experience installing window shades or motorized shades. Construction or home-improvement experience. Experience working directly with residential customers. Familiarity with a variety of window types and installation surfaces. Compensation & Benefits Please provide an installation list of pricing for different products Work Environment This position involves traveling to customer homes and commercial locations. Work may require standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various indoor environments. Professional customer interaction and careful attention to the customer's property are essential.
