In this role, you will assist experienced installers in preparing, handling, and installing windows, glass panels, and related fixtures. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction and fabrication while working alongside skilled professionals committed to safety, precision, and excellence. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will help ensure smooth project execution from start to finish. Duties Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of windows, glass panels, and framing materials on Job sites Support the installation team by preparing work areas, including measuring and marking for precise placement Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, levels, and caulking guns to aid in fixture installation and sealing Help with the setup and operation of power tools required for cutting, trimming, or fabricating window components Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions to ensure accurate installation of windows, doors, and trim carpentry elements Participate in heavy lifting tasks safely to move large glass panes or window units into position Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly Skills Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety protocols Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Experience with glass installation, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing or door hanging is a plus Familiarity with fabrication processes and manufacturing techniques related to windows or fixtures Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking on job sites Handyman experience or remodeling background is beneficial for versatile support tasks Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in construction estimating, cabinetry installation, or construction painting Embark on a rewarding career journey where your contributions directly impact beautiful building projects.
