Duties:

Create detailed shop drawings based on architectural plans Interpret construction documents, specs, and field dimensions Coordinate with project managers and estimators Prepare submittals for client approval Revise drawings as needed per redlines or comments

Skills:

Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software Knowledge of glazing systems and impact-rated windows/doors Strong attention to detail Ability to read architectural drawings and translate into shop drawings

Preferred:

Previous experience in the window and door industry Familiarity with brands like ES Windows, PGT, CGI, or similar
