Full Job Description Installation Technician Budget Blinds seeks a qualified installer of window coverings for a full time position. Budget Blinds is a custom window coverings franchise business that offers convenient shop-at-home service for window coverings and home décor accessories. The company is America's #1 window coverings franchise• with over 1,000 consultants throughout the U.S. and Canada. Each franchise is an independently owned and operated business. We are looking for an Installer who can: Install blinds, shades, shutters and other window treatments Perform window treatment repairs Receive customer payments Maintain proper installation paperwork Clean customer premises of installation debris and dust Receive product and organize warehouse Installer Skills, Abilities, and/or Experience that make a successful candidate: Prior general workmanship skills from any industry. Experience in working as an in-home installer is a plus. Self-directed and able to work independently as well as with a team. Friendly, courteous, pleasant with all types of people. Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills. Written and verbal communication skills are critical when interfacing with all levels of Budget Blinds staff and clients. Current and valid driver's license and insurance. Safe driving history Punctual and dependable. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check plus clean driving record with no felonies. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and can climb up and down ladders. High school diploma or equivalent completed education level desired.
