In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing windows across residential, commercial, and remodeling projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and customer satisfaction. Perform caulking, sealing, and trim carpentry to guarantee weather-tightness and aesthetic appeal. Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting and positioning large window units or glass panels. Install additional fixtures such as window screens, sashes, or hardware according to project specifications. Conduct quality checks to verify proper operation of installed windows and document completion for project records. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating to assess project scope and material needs. Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and glass installation techniques for precise work. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to follow detailed instructions. Knowledge of fabrication processes related to window components and framing materials. Strong background in construction site experience including carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, and remodeling. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation. Familiarity with fixture installation such as doors, cabinets, or trim carpentry enhances versatility on-site.
