Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Window Treatments Install Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing a variety of window coverings, including blinds, shades, shutters, and custom treatments. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with clients and team members, and develop your skills in interior finishing and installation. Duties Measure window openings precisely using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure proper fitment of window treatments Install a wide range of window coverings such as blinds, shades, shutters, and custom fabrications using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and fabrication instructions to execute installations accurately Use proper techniques to achieve seamless and professional finishes around installations Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting and positioning large window treatments or glass panels Troubleshoot installation issues on-site by utilizing construction estimating skills and handyman experience to adapt as necessary Requirements Proven experience in window treatment installation Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication equipment for precise work Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to interior construction projects Ability to read construction plans and schematics accurately for proper installation procedures Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work at heights or in confined spaces safely Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material needs and project planning is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in trim carpentry and fixture placement Prior handyman experience or construction painting background is beneficial for versatile project support Join us as an Interior Window Treatments Install Technician if you're passionate about transforming spaces with precision craftsmanship!
