Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Window Treatment Installer and Retractable Screen Technician, where you'll bring style, functionality, and comfort to our clients' homes and businesses. This energetic role involves installing a variety of window coverings, including blinds, shades, draperies, plantation shutters and retractable screens with precision and care. Responsibilities Install window treatments such as blinds, shades, draperies, and retractable screens accurately according to specifications and schematics. Measure windows precisely to ensure proper fit and function for all treatments. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform installations on various surfaces including drywall, wood, concrete, and masonry. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand installation requirements. Perform site inspections to assess conditions and prepare work areas for installation activities. Communicate effectively with clients to explain product features, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials during each project while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in construction or installation work with knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions clearly. Familiarity with construction management principles, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation is preferred. Experience with fabrication, carpentry (including trim carpentry), drywall finishing, or masonry is a plus. Knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous but not required. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills on-site. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for site preparation or material handling.
