Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Entry-Level Glass Installer / Glazier Helper No glass experience is required — we will train the right person. Experienced glaziers are also encouraged to apply, with pay based on experience and ability. This is a hands-on trade job working with custom shower glass, mirrors, insulated glass replacements, glass railings, and specialty glass projects in homes and businesses across 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, Destin, Miramar Beach, Seaside, Rosemary Beach, and nearby areas. We are looking for someone dependable, coachable, physically capable, and willing to learn a skilled trade. What You'll Do You will work alongside experienced installers and learn how to:
  • Load, unload, carry, and handle glass safely
  • Assist with shower glass, mirror, and insulated glass installations
  • Help measure, mark, prep, and clean job sites
  • Use basic hand tools and power tools
  • Prepare hardware, materials, and vehicles for daily jobs
  • Keep trucks, tools, and work areas clean and organized
  • Help in the shop with flat glass, mirrors, and job preparation
  • Learn proper installation techniques, customer service, and safety standards What We're Looking For No glass experience is needed, but you must have:
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work with your hands
  • Willingness to learn and follow directions
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely
  • Comfort working in customers' homes
  • Basic tape-measure skills, or willingness to learn
  • Professional attitude and clean appearance
  • Valid driver's license preferred Construction, labor, handyman, moving, warehouse, tool, or glass experience is a plus. Experienced glaziers, shower door installers, mirror installers, and IG/window service technicians are encouraged to apply. Schedule
  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday
  • Day shift
  • Occasional overtime may be available Pay Starting pay: $17-$20 per hour for entry-level candidates, depending on experience and reliability. Higher pay available for experienced glaziers, shower installers, mirror installers, lead installers, or candidates with strong construction experience, clean driving record, and the ability to work independently.
