Commercial Millwork Installer

Overview We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various installation tasks, demonstrating proficiency in multiple areas such as Millwork installation, specialty installation and field joinery. Our main clients are vet clinics and animal hospitals. These are usually complex installs in multiple phases and building around specialized equipment. We also install commercial doors and hardware along with architectural trim, owner supplied equipment. A very mechanical mindset will give the candidate an advantage. Computer skills (Office 365) and other standard Microsoft programs is a plus. Responsibilities Perform installations of commercial millwork and trim. Understand and work with shop drawings. Form a relationship with the GC, millwork supplier and onsite management teams. Perform all work to complete jobs including punch walks and punch completion. .Assist team with other work that needs to be completed. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on the job site. Learn other specialties the team members perform. Experience Proven experience in installation work, particularly in commercial millwork installation. experience considered with a good attitude. Familiarity with and ownership of hand tools and equipment used in the installation process. Including reliable transportation. Knowledge of concrete forming techniques is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings is 100% mandatory. 90% of our work is in the Tampa area, we do have a few jobs in the Jacksonville and West Palm area that need to be completed.
