This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial storefronts to remodeling initiatives, utilizing your construction expertise to deliver outstanding results. Duties Measure, cut, fabricate, and install glass panels, windows, and doors according to schematics and blueprints Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise installations of glass fixtures, cabinetry, trim carpentry, and metal framing Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining proper posture and technique Apply caulking, sealing, and finishing touches to ensure airtight and weatherproof installations Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards and project timelines Skills Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, and measuring tapes; experienced with power tools for fabrication and installation Strong background in glass installation, and fixture setup Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance throughout the workday Experience with construction site safety protocols and working in various environments including commercial or residential sites Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail; capable of fabricating components as needed for custom projects
