Siding and Windows Installation Leadman

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Leadman specializing in siding, windows, doors, and exterior finishes. Specifically with James Hardy, LP Smartside, Diamond Kote, Versetta stone, and other stone finishes to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation and finishing of exterior building components, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive team coordination, uphold safety protocols, and maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout each phase of exterior construction projects. Duties Lead and supervise a team of installers working on vinyl siding, window, door, smart siding, stone and other exterior finish projects Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to exterior finishes Utilize hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment to execute installations efficiently Perform quality control inspections on completed work to ensure durability and aesthetic standards are met Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to address design details and resolve onsite issues Conduct site assessments for remodeling or restoration projects involving exterior finishes such as masonry or metal stud framing Assist with construction estimating for exterior components by providing accurate material take-offs and labor estimates Maintain a clean and organized worksite while managing heavy lifting tasks safely Experience Proven experience in construction site management with a focus on siding, windows, doors, or exterior finishes Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding systems, welding equipment, and heavy machinery Familiarity with roofing systems, masonry work including concrete forming and tile laying is a plus Strong background in carpentry—including trim carpentry—and metal stud framing techniques Experience with restoration projects involving caulking, framing carpentry, plumbing integration or masonry is advantageous Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into actionable onsite tasks Prior handyman experience or general remodeling background is beneficial for versatility in project scope Join us if you're passionate about leading teams in delivering top-quality exterior finishes!
