As a Glazier, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of glass products, which may include windows, mirrors and shower enclosures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, precision in measurements, and the ability to work safely with fragile materials. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the aesthetic appeal and functionality of various projects, ranging from residential dwellings to commercial buildings. You will collaborate closely with contractors and clients to ensure that all specifications and safety standards are met. Furthermore, this position demands physical stamina, as you may be required to lift heavy glass panels and work at various heights. Responsibilities Measure, cut and install glass, mirrors, shower enclosures and other materials accurately. Repair and replace broken glass and window fixtures in residential and commercial properties. Work with other construction professionals to ensure seamless project integration. Apply sealants and other treatments to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed properly. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Requirements Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry. Demonstrated knowledge of glass types, replacements, and installation techniques. Familiarity with safety procedures and practices related to glass handling and installation. Strong physical stamina and the capability to lift heavy objects regularly. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.
