Duties Measure, cut, and install various types of siding materials including vinyl, metal, stucco, and fiber cement with accuracy according to project specifications. Install windows of different sizes and styles, ensuring proper sealing, insulation, and alignment to optimize energy efficiency. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise installations aligned with design intent. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, fastening, and finishing siding and window components. Follow all construction safety regulations including proper use of safety harnesses, ladder safety protocols, and adherence to workplace safety standards. Perform minor repairs such as roofing repair or metal roofing adjustments as needed during installation projects. Lift heavy materials safely through proper techniques to prevent injury while managing outdoor work conditions effectively. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout the project lifecycle. Skills Extensive construction experience with a focus on siding installation, window fitting, roofing (including single-ply membrane roofing), and related exterior work. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans for accurate project execution. Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols including harness use, ladder safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and general workplace safety standards. Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels; power tools including drills, saws; and fabrication equipment for precise work. Experience with roofing repair techniques—metal roofing, tile laying, or restoration projects is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining endurance during outdoor work conditions. Familiarity with carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, framing (metal stud framing), drywall installation, caulking techniques, masonry basics, plumbing integration, welding skills are advantageous. Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning when needed. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions accurately for efficient installation workflows.
