JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Installation Foreman & Service Technician for Bradford Systems, your main focus will be to provide best in class customer service through delivery, install and servicing of customized storage solutions. Our systems are assembled at customer sites and include stationary and mobile shelving, lockers, and other storage equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Train under the direct supervision of experienced installers to gain hands-on knowledge of all system types and installation procedures. Follow proper safety and jobsite requirements. Use a variety of hand tools and power tools such as drills, impact drivers, and saws. Interpret floor plans, elevations, and install drawings and manuals Perform precision measuring with the use of tape measures, laser levels, etc. Maintain professional written and verbal communication skills used to coordinate with GC, client, and project manager Capability to adapt to installation issues that arise from differing field site conditions or manufacturing defects Ability to work independently or with a team. Complete documentation of jobsite reports, service records, and punch lists Complete manufacturer certified training in both classroom and online settings. Willingness to occasionally travel.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
High School/Technical School Diploma. Hands on experience with commercial furniture or storage system installations. Computer skills. Valid Driver's license.
REQUIREMENTS
Punctual and dependable worker. Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work as an effective team member. Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal. OSHA 10 certification, or ability to obtain once hired Forklift certification a plus
