Job Description
Sky Auto Studio is hiring an Automotive Window Tint Installer to join our team in Chicago. We specialize in high-end automotive services, including ceramic window tint, paint protection film, color change wraps, chrome delete, ceramic coating, detailing, Cybertruck wraps, and commercial vehicle graphics. We are looking for someone who has experience installing automotive window film, or someone with strong hands-on ability who is willing to learn. Experience with ceramic tint, windshield film, back glass shrinking, quarter windows, and clean installation is a plus. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to work in a clean, high-end automotive shop with growth potential. Responsibilities Install automotive window tint on sedans, SUVs, trucks, Tesla, luxury vehicles, and exotic cars Prep windows properly before installation Cut, shrink, and install window film cleanly Work on side windows, rear windows, quarter windows, sunroofs, and windshields Remove old tint when needed Keep the work area clean and organized Inspect finished work before delivery Help maintain a professional shop environment Communicate with the team about timing, issues, and job progress Requirements Window tint installation experience preferred Experience with ceramic window film is a plus Ability to shrink back glass and install clean edges is a plus Must be detail-oriented and patient Must be reliable and show up on time Must be able to work carefully around customer vehicles Must be able to work in a fast-paced shop environment Automotive detailing, wrap, PPF, or vinyl experience is a plus Valid driver's license preferred Compensation $18-$30/hour based on experience Performance bonuses available Growth opportunity into PPF, wraps, detailing, or lead installer role Pay review after trial period based on skill, speed, quality, and reliability Ideal Candidate You may be a good fit if you have experience as a: Window tint installer Auto tint technician Automotive film installer Detailer Wrap installer PPF installer Body shop helper Car audio / accessory installer We are open to both experienced installers and motivated candidates with strong hands-on ability.
