Northern Illinois & Southern Wisconsin A well-established company specializing in custom closet and storage solutions is seeking two reliable, hands-on Installers for direct-hire positions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, traveling to different job sites, and taking pride in quality craftsmanship and customer service.

Position Responsibilities:

Install custom wire shelving and closet systems in residential and commercial locations. Read and follow work orders and accurately measure installation areas. Use basic hand and power tools, including drills, tape measures, levels, hammers, and mallets. Load and transport materials in a company van; occasional box-truck driving may be required. Work independently, stay on task, and take initiative to complete projects correctly and on schedule. Maintain a professional, clean appearance while working in customers' homes and on construction sites. Communicate openly about any damage or issues encountered on a job site.

Requirements:

Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic. Good hand dexterity and mechanical aptitude. Strong attention to detail and accurate measurement skills. Ability to lift approximately 50-75 lbs. , particularly when loading materials. Valid driver's license and a reasonably clean driving record. Must be insurable under the company's commercial auto policy. Comfortable working in residential homes and active construction environments. Light construction, carpentry, or installation experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided. Must be able to pass a measurement test and provide professional references.

Additional Driving & Drug-Screen Requirement:

The company would like installers who are able to drive a box truck. This may require an IDOT-compliant medical physical and drug screen , including THC testing.
