In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help enhance building aesthetics, energy efficiency, and safety. Duties Measure window openings accurately using blueprints, schematics, and schematics to ensure precise fitment. Prepare window frames and surrounding structures through carpentry, metal stud framing, or remodeling techniques. Install windows using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment while adhering to safety standards. Seal and caulk windows effectively to prevent air and water leaks, ensuring optimal insulation. Assist with related tasks such as fixture installation, cabinet hanging, door hanging, and trim carpentry as needed. Perform heavy lifting of window units and materials safely to facilitate efficient installation processes. Read blueprints and schematics to coordinate installation steps accurately on construction sites. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on glass installation or window replacement. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment for precise assembly and installation. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings. Familiarity with construction estimating, remodeling practices, and handyman experience is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation tasks. Knowledge of caulking techniques, fixture installation, metal stud framing, and carpentry fundamentals. Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving on-site.
