This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from storefronts and office buildings to retail centers and remodeling jobs. Duties Install commercial glass panels, windows, doors, and related framing components according to construction plans and schematics Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate measurements and placements Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble framing materials such as metal studs, wood trim, and drywall components Measure dimensions precisely for quality control, ensuring all installations meet safety standards and project specifications Perform caulking, sealing, and finishing work to ensure weather-tightness and aesthetic appeal of installed systems Assist with remodeling projects by hanging doors, installing fixtures, cabinets, or other interior elements as needed Conduct heavy lifting safely while managing multiple tasks on construction sites with efficiency and professionalism Skills Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools (e.g., grinders, screw guns), and fabrication equipment for precise installation work Strong knowledge of window installation techniques, glass installation safety practices, and framing methods including metal stud framing and trim carpentry Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for quality control purposes during installation processes Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and experience working on commercial construction projects Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining attention to detail Experience with remodeling tasks such as fixture installation, cabinetry setup, drywall finishing, painting touch-ups, door hanging, and handyman repairs This position is ideal for motivated individuals with construction site experience who thrive in fast-paced environments. Your expertise in carpentry, metal framing, glazing techniques, and blueprint/Shop Drawing interpretation will be essential to our success. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
