Responsibilities Responsibilities of the glazier include, but are not limited to: Follow blueprints and specifications.

Remove existing glass before installing replacement glass.

Cut glass to specified size and shape.

Work at heights, sometimes above 3 stories.

Use measuring tape, plumb lines, and levels for proper fitting.

Make or install sashes and moldings for glass installation.

Transport, handle, and install a variety of commercial glazing products.

Install and work with curtain walls, storefronts, commercial entrances, and panels.

Fasten glass into sashes or frames using clips, moldings, or other fasteners.

Apply weather seal or putty around pane edges to seal joints.

Other job responsibilities as required.

Qualifications We are looking for team members who possess the following traits: Experience with commercial glazing projects.

Mechanical aptitude and skillful use of tools and machines.

Ability to perform general physical activities common to the glazing trade.

Visualize objects in 3D from drawings, sketches, or blueprints.

Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.

Provide own tools, ladders, and extension cords as needed.

Knowledge of state and local codes.

Ability to ensure timely and proper completion of high-volume work at various sites.

Team player with a positive attitude, reliability, and productivity.

Committed to safety and a drug-free workplace.

Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
