Job Description
Overview Looking for individuals with carpentry and window installation experience and skills who want to work on a 1099 basis. This is an opportunity to earn more than $40/hour. We pay per window installed plus extra for added items. High customer service and quality installation is required. Responsibilities Install windows and doors according to schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to interpret project requirements precisely. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for siding and window installation on construction sites. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project timelines. Conduct quality inspections during installation to identify issues early and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on siding or window installation. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other construction equipment safely. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related window projects. Familiarity with roofing, stucco, masonry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, plumbing, welding, tile laying or restoration is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes is advantageous.
