Company Description Total Shading Solutions is a window treatment company focused on construction and commercial projects. With over 20 years of experience, we distribute and install custom blinds and shades around the metropolitan area. Role Description We are seeking an experienced Field Installer to support the installation of architectural solar shading systems across both residential and commercial projects. The role involves installing, adjusting, and maintaining window treatment systems, including blinds, roller shades, and motorized solutions in a variety of building types. This position requires technical precision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in both residential and active construction environments. Responsibilities Install manual and motorized shading systems (roller shades, blinds, verticals, wood/faux wood blinds) Perform on-site measurements and verify installation conditions Remove and replace existing window treatments when required Install and adjust motorized systems, including basic low-voltage connections Read and follow technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturer instructions Ensure proper alignment, function, and finish quality of all installations Work in residential, commercial, and construction environments Troubleshoot and adjust installations as needed Maintain tools and materials in good working condition Qualifications Experience in window treatment or related installation work Experience in residential and/or commercial projects Familiarity with motorized systems preferred Basic understanding of low-voltage systems is a plus Ability to read technical documentation or installation guides Comfortable working on active job sites Ability to lift and handle heavy materials Valid driver's license and mobility Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
