Window Installer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window and door Installer or laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction, carpentry, and remodeling but we are willing to train the right individual. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new installations to remodela, utilizing a wide range of hand tools and power tools. Candidates should be comfortable working on residential sites, performing heavy lifting as needed. A strong background in construction/ window and door installation will be highly valued. Duties Install windows in residential and commercial buildings following blueprints and schematics Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Perform related carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, door hanging, frame carpentry, and cabinet installation Apply caulking and perform construction painting to ensure finished work meets quality standards Handle heavy lifting of window units and related materials safely and efficiently Read schematics and construction drawings to determine precise installation requirements Fabricate custom components for window installations when necessary Maintain a clean and safe work environment on-site at all times Qualifications Proven experience in window installation or related construction fields such as remodeling, carpentry, or manufacturing Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Experience with glass installation, caulking, trim carpentry, door hanging, and remodeling projects Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites Maintenance Person experience or general construction site experience is preferred Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position offers an engaging opportunity for professionals with a background in construction or carpentry to contribute their skills to diverse projects while advancing their careers within the industry.
