Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Window Installer to oversee and execute the installation of windows across various construction projects. This role is vital in ensuring that window installations are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. As a leader on the job site, you will coordinate with team members, interpret blueprints and schematics, and uphold safety protocols to deliver exceptional results that enhance our clients' spaces. Your expertise in construction methods, tools, and materials will drive project success from start to finish. Duties Lead and supervise window installation teams, providing clear direction and support throughout each project phase Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation procedures Measure, cut, fabricate, and assemble window components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Install windows securely within frames using carpentry techniques such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to position large window units safely on site Apply caulking, construction painting, and finishing touches to ensure a weather-tight seal and aesthetic appeal Manage construction estimating tasks related to window projects including material quantities and labor requirements Conduct quality inspections during installation to verify alignment with schematics and safety standards Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accountability and reporting purposes Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects within scope Experience Proven experience in glass installation, metal stud framing, remodeling, or related construction fields Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication processes Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and specialized fabrication equipment Strong background in carpentry including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, cabinet installation, and construction painting Prior experience on construction sites with a focus on window or glass installation projects Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex installations Handyman experience with general remodeling tasks is highly desirable Familiarity with schematic diagrams for mechanical or structural components related to window systems Join our team as a Lead Window Installer if you thrive in fast-paced environments where your craftsmanship makes a visible difference!
