Operations Manager - Shed Builder

We are looking for a motivated individual to lead and manage the operations of our SquareShed Charlotte location! Looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, team leader who can handle a lot of responsibilities for our shed building business. Job will be both managerial (leading teams, customer interaction, emails) and hands-on labor (helping with construction labor). About us SquareShed is a leading on-site shed builder in Charlotte. We build sheds, and we build them all on site. We provide a high quality product with an even better customer experience, working all throughout the Charlotte Metro and Lake Norman areas, with travel opportunities to the surrounding areas. Our team is small but growing, and we are looking for the right individual to help maintain and grow our operation.

Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a 2-3 person crew in on-site shed construction. Communicate directly with customers. Manage projects from start to finish. Assist with the sales process as projects go from sales to project management. Work closely with management to schedule jobs, deliveries, employees, etc. Pull our company trailer to and from the jobsites. Utilize carpentry tools and equipment to build custom sheds. Cut lumber, frame walls, install siding/windows/doors, and install shingles. Carry and haul materials to and from the build site. Ensure cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the construction process. Collaborate with team members to make sure projects are finished in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Construction experience preferred, though you will learn how to run our specific system. Competent with use of email, spreadsheets, and other small office-related tasks. Experience pulling a trailer is preferred. Experience leading or managing a team is preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation. Must show up on time, communicate well, work hard, and be open to learning. Capable of bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Comfortable using power tools and working with hands. Weekdays, 5 days per week Limited weekend work (as needed)
