Job Description
Overview We are a locally owned custom window covering company seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Installer to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for the professional installation of window treatments, including motorized products, and providing a high level of customer service to our residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities Install blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, and motorized window treatments Troubleshoot installation issues and communicate solutions on-site Provide clear instructions to clients on operation and care of products Collect final payments when necessary Perform repairs and assist the team with resolution plans Coordinate with the office, sales team, and vendors to ensure smooth installs Receive, label, and organize deliveries in the warehouse Skills Prior experience in general carpentry, construction, or trade work Proficient with tape measures and hand tools Comfortable using a ladder (up to 16+ ft) and lifting 50+ lbs Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Friendly, respectful, and professional with clients Willingness to learn motorized/automated installations (60% of installs) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to pass a background check and drug screening Basic ability to complete electronic job documentation Ability to work outside at times installing exterior products
