Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Glazier Installer Helper and be a vital part of transforming spaces with glass and glazing solutions! In this energetic role, you will assist experienced glaziers in installing, repairing, and fabricating glass products for commercial and residential projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in construction, glass installation, and related trades while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Whether you're just starting your career or looking to expand your expertise in construction and remodeling, this role provides a solid foundation for growth and skill-building. Responsibilities Support glaziers with the installation and removal of glass panels, windows, doors, and custom glazing fixtures. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and prepare glass and framing materials according to project specifications. Assist with measuring, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and layout work to ensure precise installation. Handle heavy lifting safely while transporting glass units and framing materials around the job site. Aid in the assembly of frames, metal studs, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and fixture mounting as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area by properly storing tools, materials, and debris throughout the project. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for all team members. Qualifications Prior experience in construction sites or remodeling projects is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential! Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and basic carpentry techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings related to glazing or framing projects. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during work shifts. Knowledge of construction estimating processes or manufacturing experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail with an understanding of fabrication standards for glass installation. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in construction painting, metal stud framing, fixture installation, door hanging, remodeling, or handyman tasks. This role is paid — offering valuable experience in the construction industry while contributing to exciting projects that enhance buildings' aesthetics and functionality. If you're motivated by hands-on work with a collaborative team dedicated to quality craftsmanship and safety excellence — we want to hear from you!
