Job Description
We are a family-owned architectural glass and metal company based in Newburgh, NY, and we are looking for a skilled, experienced Glazier to join our team. This is a hands-on field role and the ideal candidate will have experience in installing shower enclosures and glass in various other applications. If you take pride in your work, show up on time, and can run a job with minimal supervision, we'd love to talk. Responsibilities Install glass in shower enclosures, windows, doors, mirrors, railings, partitions, skylights, and other residential and light commercial applications Measure and cut glass according to specifications using hand tools. Install both framed and frameless shower door systems from start to finish, including hardware, seals, and final adjustments Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation. Lift heavy materials as required during installations. Take precise field measurements at client homes and job sites Qualifications Previous glazing experience required (3 years minimum preferred), ideally with experience in both framed and frameless shower door installations. OSHA Certification (preferred) Strong knowledge of all aspects of shower enclosure installation and repair Skilled with hand tools (cutters, pliers, saws) and power tools (drills, drivers, etc.) Confident in drilling into tile and applying proper sealing techniques Familiarity with different glass types and their applications Able to anticipate next steps and complete clean, safe, professional installations Preferred but not required: Ability to read architectural plans and accurately measure job sites Valid driver's license with a clean record — company vehicle is provided Newburgh, NY | Full-Time |
