Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Glazier to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and glazing systems in residential settings. You will be responsible windows/ glass/ mirrors that are brought into the shop to be replaced. You will also be responsible to go onsite to houses and businesses to measure and install new glass. There will be some commercial work involved with storefront frames and doors in local businesses. You will also be responsible for keeping the shop neat and tidy. Possibility to expand role to shop manager. Must have insurable driving record for company vehicles. Duties Measure to ensure precise size and installation of glass components. Handle and transport glass materials safely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and tools to prevent damage or injury. Install windows, doors, mirrors, and other glass fixtures according to specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble glass materials with accuracy. Perform quality control checks through dimensional measurements and visual inspections to ensure proper fit and finish. Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation techniques for a seamless finish.
